SportsRadio 610 WIP Hosts The 4th Annual Great Debate
ADDRESSING THE QUESTION: WHERE DO THE BIRDS GO FROM HERE AND WHAT IS NEXT FOR THE NFL?
PHILADELPHIA – March 24, 2011-- SportsRadio 610 WIP will hold the 4th Annual Great Debate 2011 this Thursday, March 24th beginning at 12N at Chickie's and Pete's, 1526 Packer Ave, South Philadelphia, PA 19145. The Great Debate can be heard by listening live on SportsRadio 610 WIP, over the Internet at cbsphilly.com and through a variety of mobile devices. The CW Philly 57 will also broadcast the Great Debate on Sunday, April 3rd, 8 to 9:30 p.m.
WIP personalities Angelo Cataldi, Howard Eskin, Al Morganti, Anthony Gargano, Ike Reese, Rob Ellis, Jeremiah Trotter, Hugh Douglas, Philadelphia Eagles Insider Dave Spadaro and CBS 3's Beasley Reece will all be present to discuss everything from the NFL Lockout to how the Birds move toward championship form. WIP's Glen Macnow will moderate the 4th Annual Great Debate. Rob Charry will host the Debate post game show from 1:30-3PM.
The public is invited to attend and there is no charge for admission. The format will be in the style of a presidential debate. Each participant will be at a podium, make opening and closing statements and answer questions from the moderator and the audience. This is the one time each year that the entire WIP airstaff is on the same stage together. In the past Debates, fireworks exploded as the members of the WIP airstaff challenged one another about where the Birds were in their quest toward a championship and what key pieces were most important. With the 2011-12 season in jeopardy and the Birds going through so many changes, this year's Great Debate may make for the most explosive episode yet!
Listeners will have the chance to decide the winner of WIP's Great Debate by voting on line at HYPERLINK "http://www.cbsphilly.com" www.cbsphilly.com immediately after the Great Debate. Voting will continue until Monday, March 28th and the winner will be announced on WIP at noon.
