TBT: Spencer Haywood's Career Derails After Injury Due To Slippery Floor

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- This seemed appropriate after last night's wet floor debacle at the Wells Fargo Center.

Back in 1975, Seattle Supersonics forward Spencer Haywood injured his knee when he slipped on wet arena floor due to a leaking ceiling and his career was never the same again.

Haywood, a four-time all-star with the Supersonics from 1972-1975, was traded to the Knicks, and the Jazz, Lakers, and Bullets never reaching another all-star game.

You can read a profile on Haywood here.
