- Fresh oysters
- Batter: buttermilk, flour, cornstarch, cornmeal, Old Bay seasoning
- Panko crumbs
- Peanut oil
Coat oysters in batter. Cover with panko crumbs. Heat peanut oil to 350-375 degrees. Place oysters into hot oil. Fry until golden brown. Serve with tartar or cocktail sauce.
