Various websites and TV networks are spreading the news about the so-called trend of divorce selfies. These are smiling photos of couples announcing their divorce on social media and telling the world via the Internet that they are going to get along great, joyfully co-parent their well-adjusted children and live happily ever after. This started last year with a couple in Calgary who received 30,000 Facebook shares and the selfie postings have now made their way to Florida and other states. One couple wrote under their photo, "This is how you get divorced like champions." While the couples may be promising bliss in the photos, it doesn't always/often work out that way.
