Several Cars Keyed, Tires Slashed Overnight In West Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Residents in one part of West Philadelphia woke up Friday morning to find their cars had been keyed and tires slashed. It happened along South 50th Street near Market Street.

Police say seven cars in total were vandalized.

Police are still hoping someone has surveillance video of a suspect going down the street and vandalizing people's cars. Some residents say they didn't know about their cars until they tried pulling out of their parking spots this morning.

One man says his daughter just bought a new Kia last Friday. She woke up to find her tires were slashed and need to be replaced.

As the block continues to ask questions, police are asking for your help to catch whoever did it.

"It's very frustrating. People are hardworking people. You get up to go to work and now you have one, two, four tires slashed. It's a big hit to repair your vehicle," Southwest Detectives Captain Frank Milillo said,
