SEPTA Bus Accident Injures 5 In West Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Five people were injured Sunday morning when a SUV struck a SEPTA bus in West Philadelphia.

Police say at about 4 a.m., an SUV ran a red light at 47th and Spruce streets and struck the SEPTA Route 42 bus, injuring four passengers and the driver.

Police say the victims' injuries were minor and no one was hospitalized. The collision caused the bus to slam into several parked cars and a tree.

There is no word of any charges against the driver of the SUV.
