Pre-race ritual: Drink lots of fluids such as Gatorade during the day before with some PB & J sandwiches. I'll also have a huge plate of spaghetti night before.

Tips for new runners: Start off slow and listen to your body. Rome was not built in a day!
Why she runs: I started running cross country (CC) my freshman year in high school and I sucked initially! My coach saw potential in me and pulled me aside for a pep talk and the rest is history. I made varsity CC that year and have kept running ever since. I've run everything from 5ks to a marathon and it's something I truly enjoy doing!
