Police: 1 Dead, 1 Injured In Roxborough Double Shooting

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police are investigating a deadly double shooting in the Roxborough section of the city.

Officials responded to the 7700 block of Mathias Street at 10:30 p.m. Monday night.

Police say a 32-year-old man was found in the driver seat of a red pick-up truck with a gun shot wound to the head. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

Former Addict Makes Small Sacrifice To Help Youth Football Players Take Field

A 27-year-old man was found on the front lawn of a nearby home with a gunshot wound to his arm and leg. He was transported to an area hospital and is in stable condition.

Officials say neither men lived in the area.

Witnesses say the gunman was wearing dark clothes and drove away in a dark colored jeep.

No arrests have been made.
