16-year-old shot in West Oak Lane, Philadelphia police say

A teenager was wounded in a shooting in the West Oak Lane section of Philadelphia Sunday afternoon, police said. 

The 16-year-old boy was shot around 3 p.m. on the 7100 block of Rodney Street, Philadelphia police said. He was taken to an area hospital in a private car and is listed in stable condition, according to police. 

Police have not made any arrests, and the investigation is ongoing.
