Report: Squirrel Causes 5,000 People To Lose Power In New Hampshire

EXETER, NH (CBS)—About 5,000 people lost power earlier this week in New Hampshire and a squirrel may be to blame.

According to seacoastonline.com, a squirrel tripped the breaker causing a small fire at a substation near River Street.

Fire officials say about three-fourths of the town had lost power as a result of the fire.

No injuries to the squirrel were reported.
