REPORT: 49ers Expected To Release Chip Kelly
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Former Eagles' head coach Chip Kelly is expected to be released as head coach from the San Francisco 49ers, according to ESPN reporter Adam Schefter. Chip was hired by the 49ers in 2016 after being fired by the Eagles at the end of last season.
The 49ers went just 2-13 and finished in last place in the NFC West.
Chip came to South Philadelphia after coaching at Oregon from 2009-2012.
