Reading Terminal Bakery Ranked One Of Best Spots For Dessert In The Country
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Travel review website Fodor's has ranked a Philadelphia bakery among the best spots for dessert in the country.
Beiler's, the beloved Amish bakery located inside Reading Terminal, was singled out for inclusion on the list because of its "variety of handcrafted Amish desserts."
The stand's apple fritter and its iconic doughnuts also earned a mention in the write-up.
Sadly, Beiler's was the only Philadelphia area spot to be included, although places like Federal Donuts and Capogiro have been touted on similar roundups.
Other iconic dessert locations to make the Fodor's list include Ghiradelli's in San Francisco and Serendipity 3 in New York.
