Positively Philadelphia: Hollywood Star With Philadelphia Ties
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - You might not know her name, but you've definitely seen her work.
Sylvia Kauders did public relations for years. After that, she became a character actress in movies, like "Witness" with Harrison Ford.
"Young man! Hello, we're just here for the day. Would you mind if I took your picture?" she said in the film.
At under five feet tall, she has no problem holding her own in movies, TV shows, and commercials:
"I mean, I did a great commercial with Eli Manning, he reaches up in a tree and gets my cat."
While Manning gets her cat down, she's most excited about...
"Wow, Eli Manning really does drive a Toyota," she said in the commercial.
"He was a very nice young man," Kauders says. "In January, I went to Pittsburgh and shot a movie."
(Lipton) And what did you play?
"I don't know, some dumb lady," she responded.
Kauders is filmed all over, but says she always returns to Philadelphia:
"I love it, I love it, I love this town."
