Police Search for Driver in Fatal Hit-Run in Hamilton Twp.

Authorities in South Jersey are looking for the hit-and-run driver who left a teenage boy dead.
KYW's Ian Bush reports it happened around 9pm last night on Route 50 in front of the 4-H Fairgrounds in Hamilton Township.

The Atlantic County prosecutor's office says a 15-year-old boy was killed when he was struck by a late-model minivan or SUV -- possibly a Chrysler Aspen. It may be two-toned, or silver, and officials say it likely has extensive front-end damage to the passenger side.

The victim's name hasn't been released. An autopsy is scheduled for Sunday.

Anyone with information is asked to call the major crimes unit at 609-909-7666.
