Police Probe Report Of Road Rage In Downtown Philly

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police are investigating a reported case of road rage in downtown Philadelphia Wednesday morning.

The incident reportedly happened at about 7:45 a.m. at 19th and Spruce Streets in Center City.

Police are investigating reports that a gold-colored SUV ran a taxi cab off the road. The SUV then drove away from the scene.

One person was taken to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in an unknown condition. It was not immediately known if the injured individual was the cab driver or a passenger.

The incident remains under investigation.
