Police Investigating Fatal Shooting In West Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police are investigating a homicide that occurred in Philadelphia on Wednesday night.

Around 8:49 p.m., police responded to the scene of a shooting at 6316 Callowhill Street, where they found a man shot once in the chest.

The victim was transported to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where he was pronounced dead just after 9 p.m.

No arrests have been made and no weapons were recovered from the scene, but police are looking for two black males who were seen fleeing the scene in a silver Ford Taurus on Callowhill Street.
