Police: Arrest In Fatal Stabbing In Center City
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Philadelphia Police say an arrest has been made in connection with a September fatal stabbing in Center City.
Police say 52-year-old Reginald Bell was taken into custody and is facing charges.
At about 6:42 a.m. Thursday, September 24, police say a 47-year-old man was stabbed in the chest at a bus stop on the southeast corner of Broad and Arch Streets. Authorities say the victim later succumbed to his injuries.
The scene was near City Hall and the Convention Center. Many people were inside the Convention Center for the World Meeting of Families.
On November 23, police say Bell was taken into custody.
He is charged with murder and related offenses, according to police.
