Police: 2 Dead In Bordentown Township Crash
BORDENTOWN TOWNSHIP, N.J., (CBS) -- Police say two people are dead following an accident in Bordentown Township, Burlington County.
Police say the accident happened Wednesday night on County Route 545 south of Clifton Mill Drive.
According to police, a car was traveling northbound on Rt. 545 when it entered the southbound lane.
Police say the car then collided with a pickup truck.
According to police, the driver of the vehicle, identified as 23-year-old Jocelyn Redding, of Hamilton Township, and her passenger, identified as 26-year-old Nicholas Cooper, of Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, died.
The driver of the pickup truck was treated for minor injuries and released.
Township Police continue to investigate the cause of this collision.
