Police: 1 Dead, 4 Injured In Separate Philadelphia Shootings
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police say one person is dead and four others were injured following four seperate shootings Friday night in Philadelphia.
At about 9:16 p.m. Friday, police say a 34-year-old man was shot multiple times at the 2600 block of N. 7th Street in North Philadelphia.
Police say he was taken to Temple University Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 9:36 p.m.
Police say no arrests have been made.
At about 10:04 p.m., police say a 46-year-old woman was shot twice at the 2500 block of Nicholas Street.
She was taken to the hospital in stable condition, according to police.
Police say no arrests have been made at this time in this case.
In South Philadelphia, police say a 19-year-old woman and a 16-year-old boy were shot near 27th Street and Synder Avenue.
Police say both were taken to the hospital where the woman is in critical condition and the teen is in stable condition.
Police say one person was arrested and a weapon was recovered.
Earlier Friday night, police say a 30-year-old man was shot in the back at the 2100 block of E. Orleans Street. He was taken to the hospital in stable condition, according to police. Police say no arrests have been made.
