Milder Tuesday in Philadelphia region, warmer temps on the way. Here's the weather forecast.

Tuesday's is the day you can likely ditch the heavy winter gear you've been wearing, to be replaced with just a coat.

The day turns out mostly cloudy today and finally above normal, with highs climbing to the upper 40s. While not warm, it should feel considerably better than it has been, with our high temps finally getting back above normal.

Warm air will push in from the south this afternoon and evening, and with a disturbance passing by to the north we'll have to be alert for some areas of fog and drizzle late this evening and tonight. Fog should mainly dissipate before the morning commute gets underway tomorrow.

We'll be monitoring for fog overnight as warm air begins to lift in.

NEXT big weather change

High temperatures on Wednesday and Thursday may be into the low-to-mid-50s, with overnight lows actually staying above freezing.

While Wednesday looks a bit breezy, Thursday should be less windy and pleasant with both days in the 50s. It'll stay warm Friday and Saturday with a chance to hit 60 degrees, especially Friday, but that warmth comes with the chance of rain — likely showers late Friday and some steadier rain Saturday.

Models are currently a bit divergent with regard to Sunday if headed out to Lincoln Financial Field for the Eagles-49ers game, but most look to clear things out and bring in dry but chilly and windy conditions. Still, there's a chance that some wet weather hangs around. We will keep you posted!
