Philadelphia Police: Suspect Shoots Woman, Then Himself In Summerdale Murder-Suicide
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Philadelphia police are investigating the deaths of two people in Summerdale as a murder-suicide. Officers responded to a home on the 5600 block of Frontenac Street, just after 10 p.m. Tuesday.
They discovered a 36-year-old woman had been shot dead.
Police say it appears the 37-year-old male suspect later turned the gun on himself.
He was rushed to the hospital, where he died.
