Philadelphia Police Recruit Injured In Motorcycle Accident
PHIALDELPHIA (CBS) – Authorities say an off-duty police recruit was taken to the hospital after a motorcycle accident Sunday night in North Philadelphia.
This happened around 6:45 p.m. near 9th Street and Girard Avenue.
Authorities say the 24-year-old recruit was sideswiped by a vehicle, then struck his leg on a light pole.
He was taken to Hahnemann Hospital with a large cut and is listed in stable condition.
No other injuries were reported.
