Philadelphia Police Investigate Double Shooting Outside Grocery Store
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police are investigating a shooting in Southwest Philadelphia that left two people wounded Thursday afternoon.
Authorities say shots rang out outside the Save-A-Lot grocery store at 58th St. and Woodland Avenue at about 3 p.m.
According to police, two people were shot and taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania by private auto. Their conditions were not immediately available.
Police are looking for a white Chevy Impala that fled the scene southbound on 58th St. toward Elmwood.
The incident remains under investigation.
