Phila. Police Investigate After Wrench Found Near Dead Man's Body
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police are investigating a suspicious death in the city.
Authorities say around 1:38 a.m. Thursday, officers responded to a report of a "hospital case" on the 4900 block of W. Thompson Street.
Upon arrival, police found an unresponsive 35-year-old male lying on the roadway, suffering from head trauma and abrasions on his elbows.
The man was pronounced dead by medics at 1:47 a.m.
Officers say they found a silver colored wrench a short distance away from the victim.
No word on the male's identity at this time.
The incident is under investigation.
