Person Found Dead In Montco Home After Hazmat Crew Investigates Odor
LOWER POTTSGROVE TWP., Pa. (CBS) - Authorities are investigating after a person was found dead Sunday morning in a Lower Pottsgrove Township, Montgomery County home.
Officials detected a strong odor inside the house and a hazmat team was then brought inside the home on the 2700 block of Schaffer Road around 11:45 a.m.
Residents were evacuated as crews cleared the fumes.
A preliminary investigation found it was a hydrocarbon based substance.
The cause of death is still being investigated.
