Pennsylvania SPCA Hosting Free 'Pet Talks'

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Pennsylvania SPCA is hosting "Pet Talk" every Thursday night at it's new Fishtown facility.

Pet talks are an hour long and free to the public.

Linda Torelli with the Pennsylvania SPCA says experts are brought in to lead discussions on a different topic each week.

"For instance we have a session on cats in the community and how to live together." says Torelli. "We have a session coming up on cruelty laws in Pennsylvania and other topics that are interest to the community."

She says getting the facts about K-9 influenza will be the hot topic on September 24th.

The sessions are every Thursday at 7 p.m. at the PSPCA Fishtown Center located at 1546 Frankford Ave, Philadelphia PA 19125
