Pennsylvania Officials Kick Off May Challenge In Effort To Get Philadelphians Vaccinated
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- It's the first day of May and officials are launching a new May Day Challenge to get people in Philadelphia vaccinated. Pennsylvania Sen. Vincent Hughes and Congressman Dwight Evans announced a partnership with Spectrum Health Services to help achieve the goal in West Philadelphia.
Officials want to combat hesitancy and any transportation hurdles to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
Next up for Sen. Hughes's May Day Challenge is increasing vaccine services in North Philadelphia.
