Pa. Holds Surplus Auction in Harrisburg This Week

The state of Pennsylvania will be holding another one of its popular surplus item auctions this week in Harrisburg.Hundreds of state and federal surplus items will be sold Tuesday during an auction at the state Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg. The items range from furniture and tools to a tanning bed and beauty salon equipment. There are also televisions and home and car audio equipment.
Proceeds from the one-day auction will go to the state's depleted general fund or to the selling agency. The auction begins at 9am, but doors to the Farm Show open at 7:30. Payment methods, accepted on site only, include cash, certified checks, money orders, and Visa, Discover and Master Card. American Express and personal checks will not be accepted.
