Child Injured After Being Hit By Car In Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A child was injured after being hit by a car in Philadelphia on Tuesday.
The accident happened at 61st and Columbia Avenue around 5:35 p.m. The child was transported to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia in unknown condition.
Police say the driver, who did stay at the scene, was under the influence of a substance at the time of the crash.
The investigation is ongoing.
