One Dead, Several Injured In Three Car Crash In Bridesburg


PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- One person is dead and three others are injured after a three car crash in Bridesburg early Saturday morning.

The accident happened around 2:30 a.m. along the 4000 block of Aramingo Avenue.

Police say the driver of a Honda Civic was traveling northbound in the southbound lanes of the road when it struck a Buick LeSabre head on. The impact of the collision forced the Buick to crash into a third vehicle, a Nissan Rogue.

The wrong way driver, 25-year-old Angelo Mills, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The three occupants inside the Buick were all transported to Hahnemann University Hospital. The driver suffered a broken ankle, a 20-year-old female passenger is listed in critical condition with internal injuries and a second passenger, a 22-year-old male, is listed in stable condition.

The driver of the Nissan was not injured.

The accident remains under investigation.
