Officer Shoots Rottweiler That Was Attacking People On West Philadelphia Street, Police Say
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- An investigation is underway after an officer opened fire and struck a dog. The incident happened on the 300 block of Graham Street in West Philadelphia.
Police say an officer saw two rottweilers attacking people on the street so the officer discharged their weapon and hit one of the dogs.
The dog was taken to the veterinary hospital. Its condition is not known at the time.
Police remain on the scene collecting evidence.
