NJ Sex Offender Sought in Abduction of His Son

The New Jersey State Police has activated an "Amber Alert" for a eight-year-old boy whom authorities say was abducted by his father.

KYW's Margie Smith reports that the child (below left), Terry Dusseault Jr., was taken from 301 Canal Circle in Lumberton (Burlington County), NJ.

The father, Terry Dusseault Sr. (above right) is described as 38 years old, 5' 10" tall, about 210 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Officials say he is a registered sex offender and was charged this morning with additional counts of sex assaults on three other children -- not his son.

He has a tattoo on his left arm of "NY" and a tattoo on his upper chest with the word "Schaney." He was last seen wearing a tan, short-sleeve shirt and khaki shorts.  The child was last seen wearing a maroon-and-white striped shirt and blue jeans.

Police say he is driving a black 2001 Hyundai Santa Fe (similar to above) registered in the name of his girlfriend, Amy White, with a New Jersey license plate LXB-61U.

Anyone with information is urged to call 911.
