NJ Officer Charged With Soliciting Prostitute While On Duty
GIBBSTOWN, N.J. (CBS) -- Authorities in New Jersey have charged a police officer with soliciting a prostitute while on duty and witness tampering. William Dick is a patrolman with the Greenwich Township Police Department.
Dick has been suspended from the force and posted $35,000 bail on Friday. He is a 13-year member of the force.

According to police, Dick engaged in sexual acts with a prostitute, while he was on duty on April 22 of this year. They add that it was done in exchange for money.
Officials add that Dick attempted to get a witness to falsely recant a report that they initially gave to police.
