NJ Man Charged With Killing Girlfriend In Bordentown
BORDENTOWN, N.J. (CBS) -- Burlington County authorities have charged a Mercer County, New Jersey man with the murder of his lover earlier this week.
Prosecutors say 41-year-old Noel Irizarry of Hamilton Township got into an argument with his 31-year-old girlfriend, Misty Ramos, in her Bordentown apartment on Monday.
The argument allegedly led to her strangulation.
Ramos's family alerted police on Monday evening when she failed to pick up her child, who was being cared for by a relative.
Irizarry is being held in lieu of $1 million bail, charged with a single count of murder. He'll remain in the Burlington County jail pending the findings of a grand jury.
