New Jersey Artist Using Painting To Help Feed Those In Need

MOUNT LAUREL, N.J. (CBS) -- The act of giving can come in many different forms, or in this case different paintings. For Beatrix Luch, owner of Painting With a Twist in Mount Laurel, she's setting her focus on the big picture this holiday season -- looking to help others.

Secret Santas Popping Up Around Pennsylvania, Delaware

"There are ways to give back bigger than just money," she said.

This year, she pulled together a few of her artists to paint ornaments with a purpose. Making a $10 donation for one of their many mini canvas' not only fills a hole in your tree, but helps fill the stomachs of 110,000 people in our community who rely on the kindness of the Project Soup Kitchen for a meal at Christmas, as part of Camden's Cathedral Kitchen.

Your hands can do so many things, but even I learned, putting them in action helping others just may be the most important.
