Multi-Alarm Fire Rips Through Homes In Delaware County
CHESTER, Pa. (CBS) -- Firefighters battled a multi-alarm fire that ripped through several homes in Delaware County Tuesday afternoon.
The fire started at about 12:30 p.m. inside a home in the 300 block of Trainer Street in Chester City.
The fire reached two alarms and at least four homes were impacted by the fire.
Fire officials say two people were transported to Crozer-Chester Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries. A firefighter suffered an injury to his hand after breaking glass and a female resident suffered from smoke inhalation.
The American Red Cross is assisting at least two residents impacted by the fire.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
