PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Michael Nutter has been keeping busy since leaving office in January.
The former Philadelphia mayor will serve as a commentator for CNN.
Brian Stelter, the network's senior media correspondent and "Reliable Sources" host, broke the news on Twitter Monday.
The latest gig is Nutter's third new job in less than one month.
Just last week, Columbia University announced that Nutter will become a professor of professional practice in urban study for the school.
Prior to this, Nutter was sworn in to the Homeland Security Advisory Council, as one of 40 members of a council, that will advise Secretary Jeh Johnson on public safety, counter terrorism, cyber security and other issues impacting homeland security.
Nutter is no stranger to cable news, CNN in particular. Most recently, he appeared with Anderson Cooper to voice his views on billionaire businessman and presidential hopeful Donald Trump, who called him a low life on twitter.
Philly's former mayor looks to be starting his latest gig tonight, discussing the Iowa Caucuses on the cable news network.
