Man Wanted For Shooting Ex-Girlfriend's Son Turns Himself In
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Police say the man wanted for the shooting of a 12-year-old boy Sunday morning turned himself in without incident.
The shooting happened on the 3500 block of Janney Street in Port Richmond.
Police say 23-year-old Jamille Carter broke into his ex-girlfriends home and she confronted him. He allegedly attacked her, waking up her son.
Police say Carter then shot the boy in the leg after the boy went to see what was going on.
Carter is now in custody and faces many charges.
