Man Shot In Face During Attempted Robbery in North Philly
PHILADELPHIA (CBS)--Crime tape surrounds a white BMW outside of Temple University Hospital after a shooting victim was rushed there early this morning.
Police say the passenger was shot in the face during an attempted robbery a few blocks away on Broad Street near Germantown Avenue.
Police tell CBS 3 two men were leaving a bar around 4 a.m. when the suspect approached them. He then fired into the car hitting the passenger.
Police say the driver pulled out his own gun and shot at the suspect. The victim is expected to survive.
Authorities are still looking for the gunman.
