Man Charged With Attempted Murder For Allegedly Stabbing Elderly Woman In Audubon Acme Parking Lot
AUDUBON, N.J. (CBS) -- A man is facing attempted murder charges after he's accused of stabbing an elderly woman in the parking lot of a Camden County grocery store. The attack happened in broad daylight Sunday afternoon outside the Acme on West Nicholson Road in Audubon.
Police say 40-year-old Altirik Higgins stabbed an 80-year-old woman several times as she put her groceries into her car.
She's in stable condition.
