NJ Man Accused Of Killing 3-Year-Old Son Returns To Court

HADDON TOWNSHIP, NJ (CBS) – A New Jersey father accused of killing his young son returned to court today for a hearing.

DJ Creato was arrested in January and has pleaded not guilty to killing his three-year-old son Brendan.

The boy's body was found last October partially submerged in water at Cooper River Park.

Prosecutors say the 22-year-old killed his son to appease a teenage girl he was dating.

Defense attorney Richard Fuschino says his client is not guilty and is not considering a plea bargain at this time.

Creato is scheduled to appear in court again on April 18.
