Reservations To Spend Night At Lucy The Elephant In Margate Sell Out In Minutes
MARGATE, N.J. (CBS) -- Sold out in minutes -- that's what happened for the overnight stay inside of Lucy the Elephant in Margate. The reservations went live on Airbnb at noon and immediately sold out.
Lucy and Airbnb are working together to bring more attention to the Jersey Shore landmark.
Three Lucy guests were offered one-night stays for March 17, 18 and 19.
Each night was priced at $138, to honor the number of years Lucy has been in the community.
