KYW's Local Legends: Dick Wolf

Dick Wolf of Bucks County is known as a tireless worker and advocate for the rescue of greyhounds in Philadelphia and around the world, and is credited for having found homes for more than 7,000 rescued greyhounds.

"When you come home in the evening, they will greet you at the door.  And they are going to lean on you.   They just want to be your friend."

Wolf established the National Greyhound Adoption Program and is celebrating a new facility for rescued greyhounds in Northeast Philadelphia:

"After taking care of some many greyhounds for so many years, it took us a long time to figure out exactly how to do it and how it would work well.  Our dogs just have it great."
