JFK Letter Up For Sale In Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - A letter from President John F Kennedy to a young fan is up for sale in Philadelphia.
The letter was sent to a five-year-old whose father wrote Kennedy that his daughter wanted to use two cents to buy a bus ticket to get from her Louisville, Kentucky home to Washington.
Kennedy wrote back he sent the letter to surprise the girl and to say "Hello."
The dealer was unable to track down the little girl's current information.
The letter is set to go up for sale for $15,000.
