Jenkins: 'We Got A Shot To Win Division'
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Malcolm Jenkins has an optimistic, but rational take about the upcoming season.
Jenkins and his new five-year contract enters the season as one of -- if not the -- leaders of the Philadelphia Eagles. On Thursday, the 28-year-old Pro Bowl talked about the chances for the 2016-17 Eagles -- a big underdog entering the season -- under new head coach Doug Pederson.
"I can't say we'll come out and dominate every game, but I think we'll be really good," Jenkins told Angelo Cataldi and the 94WIP Morning Show. "I think we got a shot to win the division and in doing so, we'll grow as the season goes on and that formula wins when you make it to the playoffs."

So what is this "formula" Jenkins speaks of?
"You get into the tournament with a really good defense and special teams, and an offense that doesn't turn the ball over and is opportunistic, those are the teams that win in the end."
