Iverson To Sixers Fans: 'Be Patient, We've Got The Talent'
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Philadelphia 76ers, 0-7, are off to another brutal start. Fans are beginning to get restless, putting pressure on head coach Brett Brown who is 47-206 in his fourth season.
With Joel Embiid and Jahlil Okafor on a minute restrictions, and No. 1 overall pick Ben Simmons, Nerlens Noel, and Jerryd Bayless out with injuries, legendary Sixer Allen Iverson says be patient.

"Believe in each other," Iverson, who addressed the team during Thursday's practice, said via Sixers Podcast Network. "Be patient. I just want the fans here to be patient with those guys. We've got the talent. It's here. Just be patient with them and I just want those guys to just believe in each other man, and trust each other. That's it. The future is bright for us."
At the top of that talent list is Joel Embiid, who is playing in his first season after missing two years with back-to-back foot surgeries. The Sixers selected Embiid with third overall pick back in 2014 and it's finally paying dividends.

"I knew it was a great pick for us, I knew it," Iverson said of Embiid. "You know what I mean? Because I'm a basketball head, I watch basketball players. I knew he was gonna be good and he'll be greater. He's only gonna get better, you know what I mean? He's gonna make the guys around him better as well."
