Investigators: Pedestrian Struck, Killed In Northeast Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Investigators say a pedestrian was struck and killed in Northeast Philadelphia.
Shortly after 9 p.m. Friday, an unidentified pedestrian was crossing Roosevelt Boulevard at Welsh Road when they were struck by a vehicle, according to Philadelphia Police Accident Investigation Division.
The pedestrian did not survive, according to investigators.
Investigators say the driver remained at the scene, and there was no suspicion of driving under the influence.
An investigation is underway.
