I-676 Road Closures To Impact Overnight Drivers This Week

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - If your travel plans this week include driving on the Vine Street Expressway in the overnight hours, you'll have to find another route.
I-676 will be closed in both directions from Monday through Friday of this week, from 11 p.m. until 5 a.m. each day.
Crews will be removing a pier in the center of the expressway that formerly supported the family court pedestrian bridge, which is being rebuilt.
The work is part of an ongoing, $64-million PennDOT project to replace seven pedestrian bridges over I-676.
The project is scheduled to finish in the fall of 2019.
