Pedestrian killed after hit-and-run in Philadelphia's Juniata Park, police said
A person died Friday evening following a hit-and-run in Philadelphia's Juniata Park neighborhood, police said.
Inspector D F Pace said the incident happened around 9:30 p.m. at the intersection of Whitaker and Wyoming avenues, when a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle.
The driver did not remain at the scene, and the victim was pronounced dead.
