Hazmat Investigating Possible Drug Lab Inside Philadelphia Home: Police
PHILADELPHIA (CBS)—Emergency crews are investigating a possible chemical leak at a home in Philadelphia on Tuesday night.
Authorities say hazmat is currently on scene in the 200 block of Roxborough Ave.
Police say an officer was flagged down in reference to a suspicious object found in a bucket of chemicals with a timer attached to it.
Authorities determined that it was the making of a clandestine laboratory, prompting the narcotics unit to investigate.
The house has been evacuated.
No injuries have been reported.
